ABOUT THE CHARTERED COLLEGE OF TEACHING

WHO ARE WE?

The Chartered College of Teaching is the professional body for teachers. We are working to celebrate, support and connect teachers to take pride in their profession and provide the best possible education for children and young people. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between practice and research and equipping teachers with the knowledge and confidence to make the best decisions for their pupils.

Through Chartered College of Teaching membership, teachers have access to a wealth of research, resources and insight to enable excellent teaching. From termly issues of our award-winning journal, Impact, and our Chartered Teacher programme, to exclusive events connecting teachers to collaborate and share practice, members have access to the tools to constantly develop their skills and teaching expertise.

We are supporting the profession to shape the future of teaching. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever that teachers are celebrated for their expertise and professionalism. The Chartered College of Teaching is an unequivocally positive voice for teaching, raising the status of the profession to benefit teachers, their students and the whole of society.
